December 23, 2014We at Africa Agenda would like to wish all of our friends, colleagues and global audience, the Season’s Greetings.
Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and what have you, is a time for celebration! We hope that your time of celebration is well spent in the company of your loved ones. Also, we wish you joy and peace, as we mark the beginning of a new year in 2015.
Point of View
As an organization, we are grateful that we are still here and doing important, significant and impact-ful work for our community. That’s right! It is about social change–news, information and events; stirring and steering the Africa conversation in new directions. As one of our colleagues put it aptly–this is about “debunking the Africa bullshit.” The end product–building understanding. Changing attitudes–opening doors and creating opportunities.
Its clear. This work is bearing some fruit, albeit gradually. Our audience is growing, not by “lips and bounce.” Rather, we are growing by engaging the global community–one person at a time. People are paying attention to what we do.
Just like in previous years, there are plenty of exciting things which happened in the life of our organization in 2014. If you keep coming back, you will discover more results from our work on this website in 2015.
More importantly–we thank you for attending our events, for visiting this website, and for reading our content.
Thank you for being a part of Africa Agenda.
Enjoy!
