Africa News Matters was founded in 2017. It is designed as a space for critical engagement, serving as a catalyst to address the pervasive misinformation and stereotyping of the African continent.

This platform does not shield the truth about the African continent—such as the impoverishment of a segment of its population, constant warfare among some countries and neighbors, or government corruption.

Yet, there is much more to this. Who can tell the African story fairly and sincerely, without bias or prejudice?
